More Bloomberg Hedge funds

Ok, here's another attempt at getting a better list of hedge funds. This is just a test...I'll try more later...

Who is minding the store? do hedge fund investors know what is happening inside the black box? Are there any Enron-like issues lurking in the hedge fund world? Specifically, using the dollars from new debt or investors to meet any withdrawals? What happens when a hedge fund closes? It seems like the very rich lose touch with how much money they have anyway. Maybe they are just told they just made 20%...

In any case, the EDGAR database is filled with interesting tidbits. I've been getting back into Widepoint Corp. and an EDGAR search (http://searchwww.sec.gov/EDGARFSClient/jsp/EDGAR_MainAccess.jsp )

shows some big funds have millions invested in Widepoint

type in any hedge fund name and stuff will pop up

also stockpickr (http://stockpickr.com/port/Blackstone-Kailix-Advisors-LLC/) has portfolios compositions that I think they have culled from the EDGAR database.
